“Christmas time entails gifts, traditions, delicious food, and spending time together with those we love. Every year, during December month, we eagerly wait for the 25th the most.
We celebrate this occasion with utmost joy. However, because of the Covid 19 pandemic, we couldn’t celebrate the occasion with family and friends last year. We had a virtual celebration and that’s not what we wanted. But this year, we are all in the hope to celebrate the occasion together.
First, we go to the church, attend the mass and after that, we offer prayers to the Lord seeking his blessings. The most exciting part for us is the Secret Santa and the gifts we receive later (laughs). We attend the mass in the morning and after that, we visit the cemetery to pray for our dear ones whose bodies lie in rest. We then come back and celebrate the occasion by preparing different dishes at home such as plum cake, candy canes, Christmas goose, and other traditional dishes at home.
On this auspices occasion, we would pray to Lord for an end to this pandemic so that Christmas could bring hope and positivity to all who need them in these days of fear.”
