“This morning, like many others across the country, I woke up to the news of Operation Sindoor, launched by our Indian Armed Forces under the Government of India. It’s not just a military operation; it’s a message. A message that we will not stay silent in the face of terror.
I’ve always believed this: our country is our home. If someone enters our home with bad intentions, will we stay quiet? No. We act. We protect. That same thinking applies here. The recent barbaric attack on innocent civilians in Pahalgam is a painful reminder. Lives lost in an instant — people who were simply on a break. That pain should hit all of us.

Praja Kavi Kaloji Narayana Rao, the great poet from Telangana, once wrote that if a thorn pricks your foot, your eyes tear up. That’s the kind of connectedness we need. A terror attack anywhere in India should feel personal to all of us.
As a citizen, I stand with full faith in our elected government and armed forces. Operation Sindoor is a strong message. And today, Hyderabad is among the chosen locations for Operation Abhyaas, a Civil Defence Mock Drill — the first of this scale in over 50 years, since 1971.
We often get caught up in work, studies, and life. But safety awareness is critical. This drill is not just a formality. It’s a reminder that we all have a role to play in national security.
In rural areas too, awareness must reach every home — through schools, LED screens, and verified sources. Let’s not fall for unverified info on social media. Let’s stay calm, alert, and united.

At Sulakshya Seva Samithi, we’ve always believed in action — from awareness campaigns to candle marches. Today, I urge everyone — students, professionals, women, elders — to come together in solidarity.
This can’t be a one-time effort. Let’s treat this as the beginning of a more alert and informed society.
We owe that to our country.
Jai Hind!”
