“I am a science teacher by profession. Growing up, I used to read a lot of magazines and newspaper articles about Astrophysics. That’s also one of the reasons why took up Science. I did Bsc Microbiology and Msc Environmental Science as part of my graduation and post-graduation.
I had even published a book in the Telugu language named Antha Riksha Vignanam. It’s completely dedicated to the students and youth.
Nowadays, because of the shift towards online education, there were a lot of instances where children are lacking the practical exposure. Well, I am certainly working on bringing in a more collaborative effort in order to provide the practical training for the students in my hometown. I had also collaborated with the local government authorities along with the school management and took our students to several industrial tours such as SDSC SHAR, Central Leather Institute Research and CCMB in Hyderabad in 2019.
I also took the initiative to reopen the Library in our hometown, Rentachintala in Guntur District after 10 years of its closure. That’s also the reason how I developed an interest in writing a book and summoned my experiences of visiting ISRO and Thumba Rocket Launching Station in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
I am about to pursue my PhD in Water-Remote Sensing, Soil erosion and Hydrology next year and looking forward for the future opportunities ahead.”
