“I was always passionate about writing and direction. As a child, my brother and I used to watch a movie and enact those scenes and choreograph Songs. That’s how my interest in Film Making had begun.
My name is Vikram and I am a Writer, Filmmaker, Cinematographer, Photographer, Entrepreneur and Nurturer who believes in the combined growth of people around me.
My Father is a salesman in the Koti Market and my mother, a homemaker. I had a brother but unfortunately, I lost him when he was 12 years old. After his demise, everything around me completely changed. I had no clue about how I was feeling back then. I couldn’t express it to anyone but that never stopped me.
During my first year of B.Tech, I asked my parents to buy me a Camera after scoring good grades in 1st-year exams. Eventually, they did buy me a camera and that’s how my journey into this Creative Field started. My zeal for writing and filmmaking became strong while I was doing my Intermediate. One of my friends from Intermediate also had a great will to direct and make films.
He used to narrate me stories and I would design costumes and weapons for his short films. Since I had a camera, I used to do Cinematography work. Subsequently, I balanced both my studies and shorts films as a writer and cinematographer. In between, I used to organise events with my friends and worked as a photographer in pubs. That’s where I started developing contacts and we had made a few short films. After B.Tech, I joined Chai Bisket. I continued there for more than three years and later decided to quit to establish something of my own.
That’s when I started V’Chitralu, a Wedding Documentation House. Vibing with people is my favourite job which got me here. We capture and record the precious moments of one’s new beginning. My objective behind establishing it was to enjoy and explore this stream.
I am the kind of person who wants to see people around me grow as well. I believe in a Combined development of people. So with this motto every year I provide paid internships for students who are passionate about photography, writing, Cinematography and Filmmaking. At V’Chitralu, we provide students with on-field experience which will help them in Increasing their Talent. Initially, when I started my journey towards my dream of making films, I understood the importance of networking and community. Later on, working with different categories of the filmmaking process in these 8years of my journey I learned many things. All we need is patience & courage to do whatever we want.
Looking forward I definitely want to write and direct a film. I am building a team and all set to Take Off. Let’s see, what the future holds for me.”
