“My name is Thejovanth Reddy and I am the owner of Chickpet Donne Biryani Restaurant, Kompally branch. My friends, Rajshekar, Charan and I had a plan to set up a restaurant so that we can serve people and it came out of utmost passion.
After a lot of research on food and the area we learnt that with normal Basmathi rice, there are chances of acidity and indigestion. So, we came across a special type of rice named Chittimuthyalu Rice.
Leaving the profit part aside, we give the main importance to quality and that’s what keeps up the business going. We chose Kompally because it is a developing area and there is no such restaurant that prepared food with chittimuthyalu rice.
For the past year, we’ve been thinking and ideating about our plan and finally, on January 23rd we opened our restaurant. We are happy that our taste had reached people and they are happy to visit the restaurant again.
We took care of every minute detail, starting with the customer’s feedback and reviews to coming up with some ideas to expand our business.
By profession, I am a software engineer and I am working with TCS. We three friends coordinate with one another and share our responsibilities and look after our restaurant. My family supported me throughout and I am glad that I ended up doing something valuable and productive.”
