“We visit our hometown every two months. Hailing from a small tribal hamlet in Kothagudem, we attend Gurukul High School and stay in the local hostel. Cricket and volleyball are our favourite sports, but we stopped watching cricket after Team India lost to Australia in the World Cup finals.

Hardik Pandya is our favorite player, and together, we dream of pursuing professional sports. Despite our hectic academic schedule, we find time for movies and use ICTs for digital studying to stay on top of academics.

The nearly 50 km solo bus journey from our hometown to the hostel is a joint commitment for a better future. Our parents who are daily wage earners, ensure we have the resources needed for education and sports, nurturing the dream of making them proud one day.”
