“Sankranti is that time of year when all my cousins gather in our grandparents’ village. No matter where we are or how busy life gets, these three days of Sankranti Sambaralu are dedicated to family. It’s a time for traditions, enjoying delicious pindi vantalu, catching up, and creating lasting memories.
Traveling from the city, doing rangolis , wearing new clothes, flying kites, sharing sweets, and chatting with cousins late into the night are moments we look forward to every year.
The haridasulu singing harikeerthans and the Gangireddu visiting each house make the celebrations even more special.
Sankranti is more than kites and sweets; it’s about togetherness, tradition, and celebrating the harvest season that bring us closer.”
