“My father has opened this stall a long time back. I am pursuing my second year Graduation right now. On weekends, I help my father by managing this stall. I am grateful for their support and encouragement.
During Covid, as our stall was in the vicinity of the hospital, we would get calls from the patients saying they need some essential items for the mothers and the new born. We would take permission from the officials and deliver the things needed to the patients. We were happy that customers had a lot of trust in us.
The feedback we would get from the customers while they leave the hospital is pretty satisfying. Being a small stall yet serving more people is what my father believes. He is my moral support for my approach towards life.
If you ask what are my future goals? My all time goal is to become an IAS. I intend to start my UPSC preparations immediately after my graduation.
There’s something that I want to tell, many educated might feel awkward to run a stall roadside. They might feel ashamed but I would say every profession has its own perks and respect. So never ever think that such kind of work or profession will bring shame to you. Respect what you do.”
