“Growing up as a third child has both pros and cons in its own way! Everyone has different stories may be. My parents having 3 daughters was meant to be burden during 90’s. I remember my mom saying everyone being upset when I was born as they were expecting a male child after two daughters. Mom & dad never differentiated us fortunately but people around constantly reminded us that we are women. I am very grateful to my parents for giving our right to education & making us who we are today!

My happiest memory being a child is while mom described about how my both sisters visited hospital to see the day I was born.
They were hardly 4 & 2 years old each. Seeing everyone around them being upset, they too started crying on the way to hospital saying they wanted a baby brother & not sister. But once they saw me they both stopped crying & jumped into joy to hold me.
The elder sister still remembers how she was so happy to see me being so cute. This story is very close to my heart and I keep asking mom all the details about it again & again”
