Team HoH: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Tanvi: “I first wanted to be a professional dancer, but now I want to be a CEO!”
Team HoH: That’s impressive, how old are you?
Tanvi: “I’m 11 and my younger sister is 8.”
Team HoH: Did you get bored during the lockdown this year?
Tanvi: “Not at all! I learnt a lot about microgreens in my free time, and actually started a small business to sell them.”
Team HOH: Oh wow! How did that happen?
Tanvi: “Actually, Nanna showed us some videos one day of kids who had their own businesses, and one of them was run by a boy who was younger than me. I thought to myself that if he could do it, I can too. People always say that they’re going to do big things when they grow up, but they never do. I told Nanna that I also wanted to start a company with Avani, and he was so thrilled about it!”
Team HoH: Do you enjoy working with your sister?
Tanvi: “We fight a lot, a lot, a LOT! Sometimes, we even end up with scratches and bruises on ourselves. She copies me all the time, but she does her work well so it’s okay.”
Team HoH: Can you tell me a little bit about your company?
Tanvi: “It’s called Healthy Greens, and we’ve been getting orders for microgreens from our colony on Whatsapp since we started in July. So microgreens are basically the early sprouts of plants, and are rarely available in the market. They are extremely healthy and nutritious, you should try them sometime!”
Team HoH: How did people react when you said you wanted to start a business?
Tanvi: “They were all very supportive of us! I just want to grow the company so I can be a CEO someday!”
