I’ve been selling these toys here for 12 years now along with my parents. We started right here in Nagole, it’s crazy how much the place has changed over the years. The metro station, the fancy restaurants and malls- oh well, more people for me to sell to!
The house we live in now is shared with people from other families of our hometown as well. They’re all vendors just like me. Some deal with baskets, others with bansuris, some sell toys. There can be some competition, but we still do business together on big occasions or festivals to help each other out. Things have been pretty tight since the lockdown considering all the children are at home, but I’m hoping Christmas will bring about some business.

Goals? I don’t really have any big goals and dreams. As long as I can provide for my family and keep them happy, I’m happy!”
