“As a truck driver, I feel incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported in our journey so far. It’s because of their support that my brother Jagan and I have been able to reach a wide audience through our YouTube channel, Telugu Truck Traveller. There’s no greater feeling than receiving messages and calls from people all over the country, appreciating the raw, unfiltered content we share. We don’t do anything extraordinary—just capture our everyday lives, traveling across different states of India. But I think that’s what resonates with people. We show the real side of life on the road.
Traveling as a truck driver means covering the length and breadth of the country, loading and unloading goods in all kinds of places. Our lifestyle isn’t as simple as it seems. We have to be sharp and observant all the time, whether it’s keeping an eye on the traffic, managing the roads, or looking out for weather changes. The road tests us in many ways, but it’s all part of the journey.
Cooking and sleeping on the truck have become part of our routine. When you’re out on long trips, the truck becomes your home. We carry a small stove and make our own meals—simple dishes like rice, dal, or rotis. It’s not fancy, but it fills us up. As for sleeping, we park wherever we can, often on the side of the road or in parking lots, and rest in the cabin. It’s small, but we’ve learned to make it comfortable.
The hard work of a truck driver goes beyond just driving. There are long hours, unpredictable conditions, and physical challenges that come with the job. Still, the satisfaction of knowing that we’re part of the engine that keeps the country running makes it worth it. Without truck drivers, goods wouldn’t move, and we’re proud to play that role.
One of the proudest moments for us was being part of the nirmajan of the Balapur Ganesh idol in Hyderabad, something we’ve done for three consecutive years now. It’s an honor to be involved in such a significant event. Hyderabad has a special place in our hearts. The people here are warm and welcoming, and there’s a saying that sounds true: “In Hyderabad, everyone is family, no matter where you come from.””
