“My name’s Kamal Yadav, and I run Balkishan Milk Bhandar in Begumbazar. It’s a small dairy shop that my grandfather, Bal Kishan, started almost 100 years ago, back when the Nizams were still around. He didn’t have much, but he believed in making the best dairy products he could, and that’s what he did.

I practically grew up in this shop, watching my grandfather make lassi with such care. The shop itself isn’t anything grand—just a simple space with what we need.
