“On High Court Road, people don’t need a signboard to find us. For more than 65 years, our family has been making the Rajasthani jalebis, samosas, and kachoris that everyone here simply calls the ‘High Court Jalebis.’
The story goes back to the 1960s when our Dada ji from Rajasthan came to Hyderabad after working with caterers in other cities. A local caterer liked his style and brought him here. He started a small jalebi stall near the High Court, with no signboard, but the word about his crispy, sweet jalebis spread fast. Over the years, that tiny stall grew into a landmark.

Today, about 12 families—cousins, uncles, nieces—depend on this business. They still prepare every jalebi, samosa, and kachori the same traditional way it was done decades ago—the batter, the heat, the swirl, the syrup remain unchanged. Lawyers, judges, clerks, workers, and locals line up patiently in the evenings.
This isn’t just a food stall; it’s a piece of Hyderabad’s heritage. We’re thankful for the love and trust people have shown us all these years and hope to keep this tradition alive for future generations.
Alright, I have to get back to work now. Please take some jalebis home — you won’t be disappointed!”
