have hardly been days when I couldn’t make it.

I have one principle in life – no matter what, customers should get their packet of milk every morning. When my boys don’t turn up, I go to each house and deliver it myself. Initially, I was one of the boys. I started off quite young and after the main distributor quit, I took over. Since then, I wake up at 3.30 am and I’m here till 9.30 am. Winters and rainy seasons are the most difficult times, rainy worse, I’d say. But I have a family back at home and this is my source of income. When your conscience knows that, you seldom run away from duties. There have been difficult times when I had financial problems and I’ve fought them all. I was born and brought up in the same locality and so have my kids, one of whom is married now. I have special memories
with the place and my children – both things I love. Mine is a rather simple life. But this is how I like it.”
