“Success isn’t about resources; it’s about resilience.”
This quote has always inspired me, and you will understand why I love it as you learn about my journey. I’ve been passionate about sports since childhood. My mornings began at 5 AM with kabaddi, rugby, and traditional martial arts, and there was never a day without movement. Fitness wasn’t something I consciously pursued—it was just a part of life. Climbing trees, wrestling with friends, and engaging in physical training through the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh since my 5th standard taught me discipline and strength.
When I joined B. Tech in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2018, I was already into gym workouts, but it was during my college years that I took fitness seriously at a professional level. I completed a certification course in personal training and started working as a freelance trainer while continuing my studies. Balancing education, fitness, and work was challenging, but I enjoyed it.
“Your body can stand almost anything—it’s your mind you have to convince.”
My journey hasn’t been easy. There were financial struggles, long hours of training, and moments of doubt. But fitness has given me the strength—both mental and physical—to push through every challenge.
Initially, my family was unsure about my career choice in fitness, but over time, they saw my dedication and transformation. Today, they take pride in my journey.
During my training, I was introduced to powerlifting. I owe a lot to my coaches for believing in me and helping me become who I am today. Powerlifting is a sport that demands strength, discipline, and the right technique. It focuses on three main lifts—squat, bench press, and deadlift. Each lift challenges a different aspect of strength, and perfecting the technique takes years of consistent training. I started competing in district and national championships, gradually increasing my strength.

The defining moment in my journey came in 2024 when I won gold in the National Bench Press and Deadlifting Category Powerlifting Championship initiated by the World Powerlifting Congress (WPC). Lifting 200 kg was not just about the numbers—it was proof of years of hard work, persistence, and belief in myself. I continue pushing my limits every day, hoping to achieve much more along the way.
Powerlifting has given me more than just physical strength. It has built my confidence and mental toughness. When you step onto the platform, it’s just you and the weight—either you lift it, or you don’t. There’s no in-between. This mindset is something I instil in my clients as well.
As a trainer, I work with people from all backgrounds—students, working professionals, athletes, and especially women struggling with health issues like PCOD and PCOS. Many believe weight training isn’t for them, but I’ve seen how strength training transforms their health. It regulates hormones, boosts metabolism, and builds confidence.
My message to anyone looking to lose weight: don’t just focus on cardio. Strength training is key. Squats, deadlifts, and presses not only shape your body but also improve long-term fat loss. Pair it with proper nutrition—protein-rich foods, healthy fats, and complex carbs—and the results will be stunning. More than anything, it’s about consistency. You don’t need extreme diets or fancy workouts. Small, disciplined efforts every day make all the difference. Don’t treat fitness as an extra task—make it a part of your daily routine!
Today, at the age of 23, I stand not just as a powerlifter but as a coach, mentor, and someone who believes in making India stronger, one lift at a time.
“Start where you are, use what you have, and never stop believing in yourself.”
