“It’s a great feeling that our shop is synonymous with Hyderabad food and that it’s one of the most popular cafes in the city. When my father started Nimrah Cafe in 1993, little did we know that it would be as big as it is today. The credit goes to the quality and hygiene with which we make products – my father has always been particular about this. When I was in my teens, my dad made me sit and watch how everything works and it was a gradual process, before I took it over. We’ve had celebrities like Rocky & Mayur, and chef Ranveer Brar visit us and enjoy our biscuits. Recently, the US ambassador came down to our shop. The whole of Charminar was closed and only Nimrah Cafe was open. They loved it so much that they sent a letter a week later. These are things that push us to do better and better each day. Many ask me about opening stores across the country. But Nimrah Cafe isn’t just the about store but also it’s location – serving Irani Chai and cookies in Charminar is our highlight. We want our customers to experience this! However, we’re planning to sell our cookies and biscuits in other cities. That’s in the pipeline, Inshallah, it’ll all work out as planned.”
