“I’m Pradeepthi, a mother of two wonderful kids. Till 2015, I used to work in the hospitality industry and was completely occupied with my day-to-day activities. After having my second child, I dedicated my time to the kids. With the increase in nuclear families, mothers are taking on a lot of responsibilities in managing kids, day-to-day chores, and professional work all at once.

Looking at moms like me made me want to create a comfort zone for all of us. To support mothers emotionally and financially, I started a community called ‘Telugu Moms Network.’ To promote our mother tongue which helps effectively express our thoughts, I started this group in Telugu in September 2019. We discuss ongoing issues; expert talks are arranged for mothers to overcome stress, and anxiety, or to discuss day-to-day issues.

Now we are a strong community with more than 30,000 mothers from across the globe. Our community is selected for the ‘Facebook Community Accelerator Program’ a global program to support Facebook communities. In this program, we the community leaders are given coaching, and development plans and connected with many other like-minded leaders. Ours is the only South Indian community selected this year for this program.
Telugu Moms Network is one of the most engaged Facebook communities, to make this happen I keep on coming up with new ideas and engaging the mothers. As per the schedule in the community, we engage them with suitable contests, questions and answers, and fun activities. As a community leader and content creator, I keep myself updated with the happening things around me and utilize them to create my content.

I take inspiration from fellow mothers, who are doing some amazing work and creating a positive impact in their space. Understanding the needs of your followers, and sharing content that inspires them as well as engaging them is the mantra I follow as a content creator.”
