“From an early age, I had an unspoken affinity for animals, but it was the loyal and loving nature of dogs that captured my heart the most. I believe that every dog deserves to be treated with kindness, respect and a lot of love.
Even though my love towards them was forever, my potential services towards dogs truly began ever since the covid pandemic hit our country, which was since the start of the year 2020.
My journey began by feeding an old dog named “Queen”. She had recently given birth and was in dire need of food. When the government declared our first lockdown many stray animals had limited to no access to food at all. That’s when it occurred to me that just like Queen, there were many dogs suffering with no food and shelter. My parents extended their hands to help me out and we came up with a solution of feeding the nearby stray dogs with home cooked meals every day.
Spending all this time with dogs, I realized that there’s so much more than just feeding a dog. I began volunteering for adoption drives, where I spent hours caring for abandoned and stray canines and making sure that they got adopted into good families. I discovered that a simple act of feeding them and giving them a warm place to sleep brought immense joy to both me and the dogs.
As the years went by, my dedication towards the four-legged friends grew stronger. I learned about the importance of proper nutrition and medical care for dogs. Apart from adoption, I also started making sure that the dogs were vaccinated and sterilized.
There were many incidents that impacted my life, I would like to share one such incident. I was heading home from an adoption drive where I stumbled upon a malnourished puppy. She could barely walk and see. Her eyes were shut closed due to all the dust and eye discharge. I scooped her real quick and took her along with me. I named her “Lucky”, as I felt she was the luckiest pup in the world. With all the love, care and the right medication, Lucky’s health improved, and her once fearful shut eyes now sparkled with gratitude.
Inspired by experiences and the remarkable transformation of Lucky, I decided to pursue my passion for dogs on a larger scale. After three and a half years of selflessly serving and helping dogs, I opened my own Pet store and clinic in Narayanguda which goes by the name “Fur Nation”. The shop/clinic caters to both dogs and cats. Putting it in a single phrase, I’d describe Fur Nation as One stop for all your Pet Needs! The store is stocked with premium food, toys, and accessories, handpicked with love. An experienced veterinarian who can provide best medical care and vaccinations.
Hoping Fur Nation to become the go-to place for all things dog and cat related in the community. I wish for everyone’s blessings and best wishes for the success of my first venture, hoping I can extend my hands even further beyond my limits in-order to serve more strays.”
