“I sing to help people like me. I hail from a small town called Maheshwaram, where I am sheltered in a home for the blind. We do street shows to earn donations and the money earned is used for helping people like me to lead a dignified and comfortable life. I am glad to be a part of such a noble cause.
I am grateful that some people are kind enough to stop from their busy lives to listening to us. I feel blessed when they pay attention and praise our talent.
I know some just stop out of pity and sympathy for us. Little do they know that we are happy with what we have in life. We look out for their love and support more than sympathy. It doesn’t matter if we are able to see the world through our eyes, we see it through our vision.
Nevertheless, we are always moved by the kind gestures by people and their love.
There is no day of regret or sense of missing out for me. I am always happy about being able to use my voice to help my fellow people. The world is truly a beautiful place and I can vouch for it with all the loving people around me.”
