“Many come in posh cars and bikes and bargain with me to reduce the price of a dozen Munjal (ice apples) from Rs. 45 to Rs. 25-20. But we can’t sell at such a low cost because of the price hike.
I do this business part-time. Apart from going to college, I’ve decided to utilize my extra time to support my family, and have begun to sell these seasonal fruits. I get a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment from doing this.
Ever since I was a child, I was keen on doing business on my own. I have learned to climb trees, a trait inherited from my grandfather. Now, I’m also planning to start a small juice center by next month when the summer hits its peak.
I’m grateful to my family for allowing me to rekindle my dream of becoming a businessman at this age, and I will hold onto it this time!”
