“I used to work in a Cycle manufacturing company after my schooling, but the job was too mechanical for me. So I quit that job and did farming in my village in Nepal for 5 years. I didn’t have a plan for my future, but I knew I was passionate about a lot of things like farming, cooking, meeting new people, etc. So I felt Hyderabad was a good place to earn a living that I could be passionate about. One of the kind gentlemen in the vicinity was from my hometown so I assisted him and he helped me to handle this.
I have been here for the last 10 years and have seen the city and this area change tremendously. Most of the areas here were quiet during office hours and the traffic on the roads was sparse. It has completely changed now. Traffic remains high throughout the day and night. More software offices have been set up in this area and that helps me get more business on weekdays.
I have many friends here and I work along with the owner of Katmandu Momos food court where I completely manage the Madhapur stall now.
Of course, I worked hard for it – sometimes I worked more than twelve hours a day but I like my job. I get to see people from all walks of life and have learnt many skills here. The most important thing to consider in life is happiness and I derive happiness when our dear customers appreciate the food which I serve.”
