“Will the students have jobs in the current pandemic situation or will they need to equip themselves with new skills first? What would be the future if we don’t get the right job – these were the questions that have been haunting me for a long time now. But I need to keep my spirits up and get going in life.
Well, I have been helping out my parents in their business and also training myself for the government exams these days. Apart from that, I am trying to improve my Computers application skills during this period. I have finished my vocational training in ITI in Electrical Engineering and I just gave my final exams a few weeks ago. I was discussing the career options with my family and friends. I am confused if I should go for higher studies, take up a job or join my family business.
My mom runs a fruit business and my father is a farmer. I feel that I should support my family by working instead of going for higher education. But my parents still regret not being able to pursue their education and follow their passion due to financial crisis. They don’t want the same happening to me or my sister. They have given us the freedom to explore all the possible options available, so now I’m even more confused. I am not sure what the future holds for me but I would like to go with the flow and explore all the possibilities I have. Well, that’s what I can do at least.”
