“Staying away from home is difficult. I’ve been in Hyderabad for three months now and I miss my husband, who lives in China. But my strength is my son. He’s such a lovely boy. Look at him, he’s calm and not-so-notorious, which makes it easier for me. He’s a mama’s boy, so never has a problem accompanying me on my everyday tours and projects. All he asks for is some cardamom tea… I think they call it Elaichi chai in the local language. No matter which part of the city we’re in, we stop somewhere for a quick cup of tea. I love my tea with all the masala, though I find it a little spicy. Before I fly back home, I’m going to pack some masala and cardamom to make some chai for my husband. ”
