“We’ve been coming to the Hyderabad Book Fair every year, and this time was extra special because my students got the opportunity to perform Kuchipudi here. As their teacher, I couldn’t be prouder watching them on stage, dressed in traditional attire and showcasing our culture through their graceful dance.
I’ve also been encouraging them to read Telugu. It’s been a slow process, but they’re starting to pick it up. At the fair, they were so excited to explore comics and books by prominent authors. It’s wonderful to see them develop an interest in our language and traditions.
I’m grateful to the Department of Language and Culture, Telangana, for providing a platform like this to celebrate both literature and performing arts. Events like these not only preserve our heritage but also inspire young minds to stay connected to their roots.”
