“I’m Rajasree, and my journey from Kanyakumari to Hyderabad has been one of discovery and transformation. Almost six years ago, my husband’s job transfer brought us to this vibrant city. Though I have a background in Electronics and Communication Engineering, it was my love for baking and cooking that truly shaped my path forward.

After the birth of my second son, I decided to leave my corporate job and pursue my passion for baking, with my husband’s unwavering support. During the Covid lockdown, I enrolled in a professional baking course, which laid the groundwork for my new venture. I started with small online orders and gradually built my brand, Sree Cakes and Pickles.

Weekends were especially challenging as I set up my stall near Tankbund Secretariat, balancing business with family responsibilities. But with each sale, I felt a sense of pride and accomplishment. My journey wouldn’t have been possible without the love and support of my family, especially my husband, and I’m grateful for their encouragement. Their support allowed me to pursue my dreams without compromise.

To all the women out there, I say this: never let fear or societal expectations hold you back from pursuing your goals after marriage. I’m proud to have transitioned to follow my passion for baking and making non-veg pickles. This journey has taught me that it’s never too late to pursue what you love, and that perseverance and adaptability can lead to fulfillment and success.
