“I migrated to Hyderabad from West Godavari to work in the real estate, construction, and land development industries. Since I was young, I have always enjoyed reading books. In fact, I have a mini library at home. I, therefore, started writing regularly irrespective of publishing it or not. In essence, my friends frequently express interest in my stories. They frequently inquire about what comes next, the resolution, or the new screenplay, and occasionally they even make jokes such as, “If you won’t publish it, I will incur a debt and publish it.”
I always wanted to give my stories a cinematic feel, and while reading my novel, it has to have a breakdown of the series, and the layers or detailing I provide will be on point. So, my book, Ramagrama Nunchi Ravana Lanka Dhaka, is an adventurous comedy with a few subplots and contains 245 pages. To be honest, I wrote this a few years ago and it took me about six months to finish. Through one of my friends, I got to know about Aju Publications, owned by Malikarjun and Swetha. We sent our novel, which they loved and published. They released a few books but stayed clear of novels; mine was the first one to do so. It is available on Amazon and was also in the 35th Hyderabad national book fair and to my surprise, 500 copies were sold in a week. It is a huge number for me, and the publishers were also surprised by the rapid sale.
I love writing to the point where my thoughts are so fresh and pure that, even for a minute, I don’t think about releasing them. Like that comes secondary for me; all I want to do is pin my thoughts, innovations, and creativity to the paper.
It’s been ten years that I’ve been in the real estate business, and it has been a smooth ride for me and my family. If I had to describe a happy moment while writing the novel it will be about the LTTE (Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam) subject, I have an interest in the issue so I keep collected content and blended two characters for my novel and created a beautiful love story. My family and friends are incredibly happy and proud of such positive feedback and reviews.
In this busy, chaotic city life, reading books and completely involving myself in them keeps me sane, and I suggest everyone also read as much as possible or at least give it a try.”
