“The list of mouth-watering snacks is endless in Hyderabad. Well, if you come to the Chaar Kaman road near Charminar area and ask for a traditional sweets and namkeen joint, everyone will points out at us. We are famous in this area exclusively known for making special malai ki rabdi, samosas, pakoras and other namkeen items. It was our Malik, who initiated the process of making jalebis and samosas in this area and we are popularly known as Pehalwani Mithai Ghar.
I have been working here for the last 25 years now. I came here from my hometown Rajasthan in 1996.
Earlier, we used to pack the food items in banana leaves. Later we switched over to paper plates. We serve the hot samosas, kachoris with two kinds of chutney —green chilli chutney and a red (sweet) one.
Our customers compliment the taste of our special rabidi malai and it takes around six hours to make it. Okay, sir, I need to get back to work now. Please take some Samosas home. We promise you would love it.”
