But many do not know that this goddess herself first made her presence felt here over 400 years from now. It was my ancestors who gave shape to this temple which has now become world famous. Many say that Goddess here is very powerful as prayers of all those who come here are answered. People throng the shrine in huge numbers during festivals and things get even more colorful during the Diwali time as most of the festivities in the city kick off only after darshan of our goddess.
