“I hail from a village called Madhapuram in Telangana. I have been selling these roasted peanuts for close to two years now. My husband and I used to run a small tea stall somewhere beyond the turning of the highway but currently, I have shifted to selling snacks at the bus stand and railway station due to the festive season. Many of our family members have been associated with doing small businesses for a very long time.

Also during festival seasons, we used to make a variety of snacks when big brands in the city used to outsource to us. I ensure that even when I do the bare minimum, I always make sure I sell quality food to the passengers and be genuine with my business!

It is quite alright even if I don’t make a large sum of money but I have my conscience to answer to at the end of the day and I can’t go against that.”
