“We are masters in making dolls and kathputli toys. Belonging to the Rajasthani Kathputli community, I was firm on my decision to continue this profession and follow in my parent’s footsteps.

We make toys of various sizes and shapes based on the customers’ preferences. We make at least 10-12 dolls a day. We sell these toys in exhibitions and public places across the city. Most of the money we earn goes on travel and stay.

We used to earn well in the past but we were impacted badly over the last three years. We don’t even have proper homes and we stay in the makeshift hits near Hitex Kaman. However, we are still continuing this with the hope that things could get better in the year 2023!
