When my father started Shalimar Tiffins & Snacks 30 years ago, he had never expected it to be the kind of hit is it now. It was a source of income and there wasn’t a better way than making delicious snacks and tiffins that we’re good at. Today my brother and I handle this business and serve the best of Dosas, Chaat, and Burgers in town. We also specialize in making Tawa burgers that we started in 2012. There are two varieties of Tawa burgers – regular and premium. Trust me, it will remain fresh14 hours straight without any refrigeration or storage!

Over the years, the only thing that has changed is the demand for modern varieties of dosas and chaat items. Today we serve more than 20 varieties of dosas and 15 varieties of chaat items including customized Tawa Burgers. Back in the ’90s, customers preferred traditional chutneys in dosas but today it’s a fusion of cheese and butter. No matter what the trends are, we have always been consistent with our service. That’s something my father will be proud of and we are always thankful for our customers and friends who come back to us every day!”
