“I find it funny that people bargain. Many come in bikes and cars, asking me to reduce the price of a dozen Munjal from Rs. 40 to Rs. 20-15 ( laughs).
Ever since I was a child, I was keen on doing business on my own. With that motivation, I have learned to climb trees, a trait inherited from my grandfather. As the years rolled by, I sadly lost the habit because of my regular school and college. For me, the pandemic has ushered me back into doing business, easing the stress and anxiety at home.
Apart from my daily online classes, I’ve decided to utilize my extra time to support my family, and have begun to sell seasonal palm fruits. I get a sense of satisfaction and accomplishment from doing this. Now, I’m also planning to start a small juice center. I’m grateful for the lockdown allowing me to rekindle my dream of becoming a businessman, and I will hold onto it this time!”
