“People forget about me and my face after a few seconds. Because I am just an ordinary woman trying to work hard with a smile traveling almost 50 km every day. But I never can forget every single person I met on the road as they are the reason that I am able to support my family. My duty is to find out people who look tired or bored while traveling and serve them the best roasted as well as boiled peanuts for just 10 Rs. a serving.

I hail from Bhongir town in Telangana. I have been selling these roasted peanuts for close to five years now. Many of our family members have been associated with small businesses for a very long time.

My policy in life is to enjoy whatever I do in life and respect others. I always make sure I sell quality food to the passengers and am genuine with my business. It is quite alright even if I don’t make a large sum of money but I have my conscience to answer to at the end of the day and I can’t go against that.”
