“Honestly, I never really thought that I would become an author in life but the situations around me motivated me to be one. I always loved to observe people, and my stories often revolve around every little thing around me.
I come from a humble background from Tandur in Vikarabad District and we moved to Hyderabad at the age of 14 after the passing of my father due to cancer. When I shifted to Hyderabad, my perspective on life changed completely. I was new to the city, with no friends. I was quite young to understand how to express my feelings and felt lost. My brother understood my situation and got me an electronic tablet so I had some form of motivation and entertainment. That was the foundation for my writing journey. It began with simple reading on Wattpad, then blogging, and then attempting to write my poetry and stories. It can be quite daunting, putting your feelings out for the world to see, but it began to heal me. I no longer craved an escape, I was creating my own. I published my first solo book ‘Sensation of a Soul’ at the age of 17. My second book, ‘The Mystic Soul’ which was released in October 2017 has even topped the Amazon Bestseller List. My journey in the writing field continued and I even ventured into the E-commerce field through my venture JP Enterprise. To date, I have authored 9 books.
My seventh book, Taekwondo – The Olympic Sport is about martial arts. This book illustrates some of the amazing techniques from ‘Taekwondo’ that are focused on providing self-defense guidance for young girls and women or to anyone keen on this subject. I am currently under training to receive my black belt in TaeKwonDo.
Through my academy, we started collaborating with various foundations/colleges for regular self-defense sessions. I want every girl out there to take up self-defense classes. Self-defense training is a life skill that helps girls to be more aware of people around them and be prepared for unexpected situations at any time.
On the occasion of National Girl Child Day, I hope everyone comes together to contribute their part to raise awareness about the rights of girl children and the importance of female education, health, and nutrition.”
