“Hello. My name is Shiva and I am studying in class 2 at Pragathi Central School. It’s been a long time since I visited our farm so I came here along with my nanna to play.

As today is Nature Conservation Day, I am planting a sapling as a part of my outdoor activity in school.

There’s an online program today in the class and I also gave a presentation on the topic of Nature conservation and plastic pollution.

Nanna always tells me and my sister not to use plastic bags and toothbrushes. We only use cotton bags and bamboo toothbrushes.
We also use a refillable water bottle which is of metal instead of buying plastic bottles of water. In case if we eat chocolate, we make sure to throw the rappers in the dustbin so that it doesn’t pollute the land and water. Not only that, but I also provide water to the birds and street dogs every day outside my house.

I would suggest all my friends and people around avoid plastic usage as much as possible. It’s our responsibility to protect our mother nature and let’s reduce, reuse and recycle wastage and other things for a sustainable future.”
