“Art has always been a part of my life, even as a child. I wasn’t great at math or science, but I could spend hours sketching biology diagrams. Those were my favorite part of school. Looking back now, I think that’s where my journey with art truly began.
Later, I decided to study Fine Arts with a focus on Animation. While the course introduced me to various creative techniques, it was drawing, figurative art, and illustrations that I connected with the most. My first job was as a Storyboard Artist and Illustrator. It was a role I enjoyed, but after some time, I realized I wanted to explore my creativity on my own terms. That’s when I decided to step into freelancing.
One of the most memorable moments in my freelancing journey was working on a book titled Letters to Love by author Kadali. I was tasked with illustrating it, and when the book launched at Ramanaidu Studios, the response was incredible. To top it off, my work even got featured in a newspaper. Seeing my parents’ pride and joy during that time is a memory I’ll hold onto forever.
Like any artist, I’ve faced my share of struggles—moments of self-doubt, fear of not being good enough. But over time, I’ve learned that art isn’t about chasing perfection or worrying about the end result. It’s about the process, the freedom to let ideas flow, and the joy of creating. That’s what keeps me going every single day.”
