“For the first few years of my life, I only cared about playing around with friends until I began to understand the financial problems of my family. I took the responsibility of earning some money myself at the age of 16.
Initially, nothing felt right and survival was tough.
I had done several odd jobs before starting this handcrafted toys business 40 years ago. Instead of just selling them in my hometown, I packed my bags and travelled to different states. Not every day is fruitful in this line of business. However, I work hard every day with the same passion to provide for my family.
For the last 40 years, I’ve made innumerable friends and acquaintances and not one has gone in vain. I’m in a good place now. I am fortunate enough to have a supporting wife and three wonderful daughters who supported me throughout my journey so far.
I’ve had my share of hurdles which I stumbled through but when you have that someone who has your back throughout, the ride always becomes worth it.”
