My journey as a cricket admirer started very early in my school days. I used to watch cricket games with my dad in my childhood especially The Indian Premier League together during summer, that’s when my love for Hyderabad Team evolved. But soon after the termination of Deccan Chargers happened, and Sunrisers Hyderabad Franchise came into the limelight, we thought it would be good to have our own fan club like other teams.
I and my co-founders Ajay Thakur and Sathish Kumar started @srhfansofficial inspired by other Fanclubs like @cskfansofficial and @nammateamrcb back in 2013 it has been 10 years of hard work.
Back in 2016, I used to be a bowler boy for Sunrisers in Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, that is when I met a few players and they appreciated my efforts as a fan.
Later in 2017 I and my Co-founder, Ajay Thakur decided to engage in Indian Cricket fan activities in Hyderabad. Which gave us the opportunity to join The Bharat Army Official Fanclub of Team India and we have done many Team India activities in Hyderabad with the Bharat Army.
I graduated from CSMSS College of Agriculture with Bsc. Agriculture degree. I worked in a milk industry forum after graduation. I am now looking forward to pursue my higher studies.
The best moment of my life was when I was featured in Indian Sports Honours with our Orange Army Flag, that was a dream come true indeed. Also, this year I had the chance to meet all our Risers; our captain Aiden Markram has appreciated our 10 years of hard work for the Orange Army. In addition to that, I recently met all the commentators of Star Sports.
Last but not least, one of the most awaited moments which felt so surreal was when I met Tom Moody Sir and he recognised and highly appreciated our efforts.
It has definitely not been an easy journey, had to go through many ups and downs. With my graduation in Aurangabad, I used to always travel all the way to & from Aurangabad to Hyderabad during IPL games for 4 years.
It’s a very satisfying feeling when players and coaches recognise your efforts after all the hard work we put in through these 10 years. What else does a fan like me need?
This isn’t my journey alone, if I am representing Orange Army here today, it is definitely because of my parents, who understood my passion and always have been the driving force and the greatest support system.
And the most thanks to all our Srhfansofficial members who have been my pillar of strength for the past 10 years and will continue being so in the coming years.
