“My husband used to work at a fabric dying factory, since he would constantly go to these dying units, it sparked an interest for me as well. When I visited these units with him, I came up with my own business idea. I started this business around 15 years ago. Initially, I started by giving people training on dying and block printing, I then moved on to getting a job at Shilparamam in arts and crafts, and now I have my own saree and dress material business. My family supported me throughout my journey and is very proud of how far this business has come. I’ve grown up in Hyderabad, and think it’s a great environment for a startup because of the immense amount of support you can get from the people around you.”
